What To Do

What To Think. What To Desire. What To Do.

What To Do is the third and last exhibition in the series. The photograph of Mario Merz’s work Che fare? (What To Do?, 1968) displayed in the entrance hall emphasises the political significance of the question, inspired by the treatise What Is To Be Done? written by Lenin in 1902 which examined the intellectuals’ call to define revolutionary actions, whereas Merz embraces themes such as the role of artists in society and the sort of objects they should produce.
