Bio

Alba Baeza (Barcelona, 1986) es curadora y escritora actualmente establecida en Estocolmo, donde ha desarrollado diversos proyectos: comisarió la exposición Through the Looking Glass (2016) en hangmenProjects y ha organizado varios programas públicos, entre ellos Palestinian Cinema: Solidarity Through Film (2017) en Tensta konsthall, o The Roaming Institute (2017) en Index – The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation. Recientemente ha mantenido un coloquio con la artista VALIE EXPORT en Kristinehamn konstmuseum, en Suecia, durante la apertura de Experimental Film Festival AVANT 2017.

Además de sus proyectos independientes, Alba Baeza ejerce como curadora asistente en Statens konstråd – Public Art Agency Sweden, centrándose principalmente en proyectos artísticos permanentes en la esfera pública; entre ellos, la serie de comisiones Chronotopia en Gotemburgo (iniciada en 2016), comisariada por Lotta Mossum. También ejerce como curadora asistente para Rosa Martínez, con quien ha trabajado, entre otras, en las exposiciones La intimidad es política (2017) en el Centro Cultural Metropolitano en Quito, Ecuador, y Nada temas, dice ella (2015-2016), en el Museo Nacional de Escultura en Valladolid, España; así como la serie de exposiciones Qué pensar. Qué desear. Qué hacer (2012-2013) en Caixaforum Barcelona.
